Long shaft slurry pumps for agriculture
Landia’s long-shafted slurry pump, type MPG (motor pump) and TPG (tractor pump), is installed standing vertically on the bottom of a tank. The pump is lowered into the reception tank/storage tank while the motor is up in the open air. The slurry pump housing is cast iron, far superior to the welded pump housings found on lower-quality pumps. The long-shafted slurry pump can also be supplied with an adjustable bottom mixing nozzle.
Advantages of the long-shafted slurry pump
The pump is available in many sizes, different fasteners and varying pipe work as needed. The knife system and auger are made of hardened steel and work perfectly for comminuting dry matter. The auger ensures a uniform pump inlet thus ensuring pumping is done clog-free. The pump has a long service life and can often run for 10-15 years without significant operating costs.
