Chopper/sludge pumps (submerged) for wastewater

The DG-I pump is a series of submersible pumps, which are developed to pump heavily polluted wastewater and sludge with a high dry matter content. All DG-I pumps are fitted with a knife system at the pump inlet. The knives ensure smooth operation in conditions where many other pumps have problems with clogging.

Use of the wastewater pump

The pump has several applications. As an example, the DG-I pump has proven to be a problem solver in pumping stations, where there is a large content of cloths, wet wipes and other things that would otherwise typically cause other pumps to have trouble operating.
Landia’s pumps are designed to be able to pump liquids with high viscosity. This makes them extremely suitable for pumping wastewater sludge. The operating range of the pumps is up to 6 bar, which is why they can also replace most types of displacement pumps that are often used for pumping sludge.
For liquids that contain abrasive particles such as sand, we have developed special materials that extend the service life of the pump significantly compared to a standard pump. If the pump is to be used in operation with more aggressive liquids, such as wastewater from dairies, we offer the pump in acidproof steel.
